I loved listening to this podcast. The fact that they were from the Netherlands really made it interesting to hear them talk about their daily life. I learned that video games are definitely not just an American thing. But, it’s present in tons of countries. And, it sounds like a great way to meet people from other countries. I wasn’t aware that you could meet people from international places!
I love that he has a good friend from Sweden that he wouldn’t have met otherwise besides playing video games. Maybe I should start playing the Xbox. Also, I think it’s so cool that they fence! That sport isn’t common around us here so it was very captivating that it’s something that people do there. But, it sounded like it wasn’t very common there either. He made it sound as though the U.S. had a very large presence in the fencing world. I wasn’t aware of that at all.
